  • Druzy Spectra Pyrite Known as Rainbow Pyrite or Spectropyrite Druzy. Combines grounding, protective ,and abundance attracting properties of iron pyrite with the iridescent, high energy and amplifying qualities of druzy crystal. Provides a protective shield against negative energy.

History of Pyrite:

    • Derived from the Greek word "per" (Fire), pyrite was used in antiquity to create sparks when struck against metal. Serving as a vital tool for starting fires. It was found in the fire starting kits of pre-historic humans, including Otzi the Iceman.
    • Incas and Mayans polished pyrite to create reflective mirrors, which were often considered sacred
    • Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans used pyrite in jewelry, talismans, and amulets, believing it possessed protective energies to ward off negativity
    • During the 16th and 17th centuries, pyrite was used as the igniter in the early wheel lock firearms, where it struck against steel to produce ignition sparks
  • Carnelian is used to open and balance the Sacral Chakra. Carnelian is known for being a stone of courage, endurance, energy, motivation, and leadership. Ancient Egyptians called Carnelian "the setting sun" because of its orange hues. If it was an orange hue they associated it with female, passive, receptive qualities. If it was more red-orange or redder they associated it with active male energy. Carnelian is traditionally worn to enhance love, desire, and passion.

History of Carnelian:

    • Placed on mummies to assist the dead in the afterlife. Linked to the goddess Isis for protection, and worn by architects to denote high rank. It was used in King Tutankhamen's death mask.
    • Ancient Rome warriors wore carnelian amulets to promote courage, strength, and confidence in battle.
    • Excavated from the Royal Tombs of Ur, it was used for necklaces and cylinder seals, representing power and status.
    • Ancient Greece & Persia used as protective talismans against natural disasters, specifically earthquakes, and to ward off misfortune.
    • Mentioned in the Bible as a stone on Aaron's Breastplate. Used by alchemists in the Middle Ages to activate other stones.
    • Throughout history, it has been connected to the blood of Isis, the power of the sun, and a tool for boosting motivation and reducing anger.
