- Rainbow Obsidian is said to bring love, joy and light into your life. It is said to ground out negativity to let light in. Obsidian is said to help protect the over sensitive against depression. Obsidian is most commonly associated with the Root chakra, grounding you to the Earth. Althought it can also be used at the Solar Plexus Chakra for emotional healing. This stone is good for helping heal a broken heart, or provide support for someone in grief.
